2023.07.06 Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, Pavilion for Private Sectors “Mitsubishi Pavilion”, Ground-Breaking Ceremony Conducted

On July 6, 2023, the Mitsubishi General Committee for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, which will participate in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, hosted a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Mitsubishi Pavilion*.
Construction of the Mitsubishi Pavilion is scheduled to begin this month and be completed by the end of October 2024.
※ The Mitsubishi Pavilion is exhibited by the Mitsubishi General Committee for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, consisting of 31 companies in the Mitsubishi Group.

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by representatives of the Mitsubishi Group, which is the owner of the facility, as well as Takenaka Corporation, Nankai Tatsumura Construction Co.,Ltd., Takenaka Civil Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. Consortium, Dentsu Group Inc., Toppan Inc., LAND Co.,Ltd, and Mitsubishi Jisho Design Inc., which are all the main partners in the construction and operation of the Mitsubishi Pavilion, and the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition.

Architectural design concept for the “Mitsubishi Pavilion”

“Vibrant interaction between life, nature, and humanity”
The architectural design concept for the Mitsubishi Pavilion has been developed so as to express the vision of “vibrant interaction between life, nature, and humanity,” based on the pavilion’s core concept of “keeping the world vibrant.”
