The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has been accepting proposals for the provision of facilities, goods, and services necessary for site development and site operation of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) as sponsorship in order to make the Expo more attractive and comfortable for all visitors. The Association has solicited proposals since February 2022, and many companies and organizations have expressed their keen interest in participating.
The Association is pleased to announce that it has concluded sponsorship contracts with the following 32 sponsors whose sponsorships were approved by August 1, 2023. The total number of sponsors for Expo Site Development Participation and Expo Site Operation Participation has now reached 67.
For the Expo site development participation and Expo site operation participation, the Association is asking for sponsorship for a variety of goods and services, encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as other small businesses and organizations to participate. The Association will announce on its website the information of the companies and organizations that have been selected as new sponsors in due course.
In addition, regarding the Expo Site Development Participation (2nd round) and Expo Site Operation Participation (5th round), the Association continues to receive questions and offers from many companies and organizations, and their interest is still growing. Therefore, the Association has extended the application period of the recruitment for sponsorship proposals from Wednesday, September 13, 2023 to Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
