2023.11.24 Cooperation Promotion Agreement with the Consortium for Co-creation of Higher Education Wakayama and Wakayama Prefecture Concluded

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has concluded a cooperation promotion agreement with the Consortium for Co-creation of Higher Education Wakayama (Wakayama, Chairperson: MOTOYAMA Mitsugi), and Wakayama Prefecture (Governor: KISHIMOTO Shuhei) to further build momentum for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and ensure its success.
On the basis of this agreement, all three parties will promote efforts to create a sustainable community between universities, students and the people of Wakayama Prefecture; improve the quality of education and research, attract tourists to Wakayama Prefecture, and promote regional development, by using the Expo as an opportunity to build momentum through participation in the Expo by universities, students and the people of Wakayama Prefecture.

    ・To disseminate information about the Expo and build momentum for it
    ・Other matters of collaboration deemed necessary by the three parties

About the Consortium for Co-creation of Higher Education Wakayama
The Consortium for Co-creation of Higher Education Wakayama was established in 2000 by universities and other higher education institutions in Wakayama Prefecture, with the aim of combining their intellectual resources through collaboration and cooperation, contributing to the further development of the regional society, and demonstrating the attractiveness of the member institutions. Ten universities and one technical college have joined the Consortium and have been doing various activities.
