The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will distribute “EXPO ’70 NFT”, a limited edition NFTs*¹ of Expo 1970 Osaka, as a part of “EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet” business collaboration services, from December 13, 2023 to April 12, 2025.
The NFTs will be distributed to users who have downloaded the “EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet” application and log in between the 13th of each month and the 12th of the following month. The design of the NFT varies from month to month, with a new design each month. In addition, a “MYAKU-MYAKU Key Visual NFT” will be distributed to users of the application who participate in related events of the Association and its partner organizations.
We hope that many people will acquire various types of NFTs before the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and become familiar with this service, which will help to further build momentum for the Expo.

・ Overview
The Expo 1970 Osaka drew more than 64 million visitors, creating a veritable frenzy of excitement throughout Japan. The various pavilions and exhibits of the time had a huge impact on visitors, and even today, more than half a century later, they remain vivid in the memories of many people.
Osaka Prefecture has inherited the materials from Expo ’70 and provided image data to the Association, which utilizes it to distribute “EXPO ’70 NFT” using the latest Web32 technology and blockchain3.

・Distribution schedule
If you log into the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet application from the 13th of each month to the 12th of the following month, from December 13, 2023 to April 12, 2025, the day before the Expo opens, you earn an EXPO ’70 NFT. The design to be awarded will vary each month (16 designs in total).
