2024.03.13 New Tagline for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Unveiled: “Towards a Brighter Future for All”

One year before the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has adopted the tagline, “Towards a brighter future for all”.
Based on the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” this tagline is intended to convey a clear message to people around Japan and the world about the inspiration and experience that can be gained at the Expo, which will be a laboratory future society. The tagline will be used continuously until the end of the Expo. The tagline contains the aspiration for “dialogue rather than confrontation,” “sustainable growth through co-creation,” and to discover what is truly necessary together through the Expo.
The tagline will be deployed on digital signage, which is seen by many people in major transport facilities, as well as on the website, social media, posters, and stickers, in order to reach a wide audience. The Association will also cooperate with stakeholders to increase excitement and momentum for the opening of the Expo.

■ Idea behind the tagline
The theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” aims for the world to work together to create a future where all life on earth, including humans, can shine.
The goal is sustainable growth via co-creation, and dialogue instead of confrontation.
We want to discover what is truly necessary with everyone. As a “People’s Living Lab; A laboratory for a future society,” the Expo will offer an experience that combines learning and play. We want to create inspiration that will drive us forward to a brighter future.
We will bring the experience to as many people as possible across the generations and cultures in order for the year 2025 to be the birth year of a bright future.
