2024.03.29 MYAKU-MYAKU Appeared on the Main Stage at “The 9th Japan Vietnam Festival in Ho Chi Minh City” To Promote Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan!

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) collaborated with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Hanoi Office, to carry out a programme of promotional activities over the two days of the “9th Japan Vietnam Festival in Ho Chi Minh City”, one of the largest events in Vietnam (Location: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, March 9 to March 10, 2024).
At the event, the Association and JNTO conducted various promotion activities, such as promotion of the Expo, a MYAKU-MYAKU meet and greet, and an EXPO ID registration campaign at the JNTO booth in the Japan Travel Area. A Bon Odori dance to the official song of the Expo “Kono Hoshi no Tsuzuki Wo” was held in the venue’s plaza. On the main stage, there was a Quiz competition, as well as a special appearance from MYAKU-MYAKU who collaborated with the Expo special supporters “BALLISTIK BOYZ” and “PSYCHIC FEVER”. This was the first collaboration with special supporters to be carried out overseas.

  4. Overview:
    The Japan Vietnam Festival is one of the largest Japan-Vietnam exchange events in Vietnam and is organised by an executive committee consisting of industry, academic, and government officials from both countries. It is a joint project of the public and private sectors in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government agencies.
    Under the concepts of “bilateral cooperation”, “coexistence and coprosperity”, and “creation of the future between Japan and Vietnam”, the 9th Japan Vietnam Festival was held to promote mutual understanding of traditions and culture and the introduction and exchange of tourism, products, and technology. The programme featured content related to “culture, art, and performing arts”, “human resources and sports exchange”, “manufacturing”, and “tourism” with the aim of building bridges between Japan and Vietnam. The event was attended by around 428,000 people (preliminary figures).
