Currently, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has been made aware of the existence of fake accounts on X (formerly Twitter) that impersonate the official account of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and hint at providing benefits.

These fake accounts may direct you to suspicious sites where your personal information may be illegally obtained, so if you receive a suspicious mention or DM (Direct Message), please do not access the URL(s) provided and block the fake accounts to prevent any potential harm.

When fake accounts are identified, the Association reports them to the social media platform as spam and fake accounts. However, there is a possibility that new fake accounts may still appear in the future, so please be sure to check usernames and other details carefully.

*The only official accounts of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan at X are the Japanese account (@expo2025_japan) and the English account (@expo2025japan).
