The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will exhibit booth and present at a pitch event at WebX2024, Asia’s largest Web3* conference. There will also be a campaign to distribute event discount codes exclusively to users of the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet  in collaboration with the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet and the organisers of WebX2024, the WebX Executive Committee (hereinafter referred to as “WebX”).

In addition, at the event venue, the Association  will distribute venue exclusive NFTs^* at the booths of the Association and its sponsoring companies of EXPO2025 Digital Wallet, SBI Holdings Corporation, and HashPort Co., Ltd. We also plan to present those who collect all of the venue exclusive NFTs with a discount to the 2025 WebX event.
*Web3: A term used to describe the next generation of the Internet. It is a decentralised network realised mainly by blockchain technology.
*NFT (Non-Fungible Token): Irreplaceable digital data created based on a blockchain. This rally will use SBT (Soul Bound Token), a type of NFT technology, which cannot be tampered with and cannot be transferred to another party. This is expected to be a new technology that can be used for participation certificates, etc.

▽ Coordinated campaigns with “WebX2024”
A discount code will be distributed to those who download the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet by the day before the “WebX2024” event (Tuesday, August 27, 2024) to get 20% off the ticket price of the event. The discount code can be used on the “WebX2024” ticket purchase website until the day before the event.
・Campaign period: Wednesday 31 July – Tuesday 27 August 2024
・Campaign benefits: 20% discount code for “WebX 2024” tickets
・How to apply for the campaign: During the above period, please apply from the “WebX2024” ticket application page dedicated to this campaign, which is posted in the “Announcement” section of EXPO2025 Digital Wallet. (*The 20% discount code can be obtained from the application page.)
