The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that the following company will participate in the ‘Future Sales Facilities’, where visitors can experience new technologies and cultures related to food and beverages as part of the ‘Future Society Showcase Project’.

■ Location:
　1st and 2nd floors in the West Building of the Water Plaza at the Expo site.
■ Outline of sales facilities:
　Three sales facilities will be opened in the Water Plaza West Building, a commercial building located in the Water Plaza. Each of the restaurants will have a different theme and meet a variety of dining needs.
　SUNTORY PARK CAFE is a park-like cafeteria where people can casually drop in and enrich their minds and bodies, SUIKUU is a restaurant where you can feel the fresh water and air of the Japanese highlands, and ‘Kindai University Aquaculture Research Institute Restaurant at the Water Plaza, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan’  is a restaurant specialising in farmed fish that will connect the blessings of the sea to the future.

In the new shops, which are co-created withDaikin Industries, Ltd. and Kindai University, the menu and interior design will incorporate Japanese elements and cutting-edge technology, allowing customers to enjoy eating, drinking and communicating while enjoying the space.

■About the Future Society Showcase Projects
This project is a general term referring to a group of projects that provides experiences to a wide range of participants and visitors from Japan and abroad by utilizing technologies and services that support the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” for the development, operation, exhibition, and events of the Expo site which will be a “People’s Living Lab”, in the form of “demonstration” that gives a sense of the future after 2025 and “implementation” that is suitable for the Expo.
