The Sumitomo EXPO 2025 Promotion Committee organised a site visit and information session for the media on 17 September, 2024. Part of the Sumitomo pavilion architecture was unveiled to the media at Yumeshima Island, and thoughts behind the architecture, the progress of construction work, and future plans were discussed. New information on the contents of the exhibition was also presented for the first time.

The Sumitomo Pavilion is one of 13 pavilions for private sectors that will be part of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
