The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has been selling admission tickets for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) on its official sales website, and will start also selling admission tickets/ admission ticket vouchers at convenience stores and travel agencies nationwide from 13 October, 2024, coinciding with when visit date and time reservations begin.
1. Planned sales operators
(1) Convenience stores nationwide (including ticket operator websites)
Seven-Eleven, Lawson, FamilyMart
Ticket operator websites (Pia, Lawson Ticket, e-plus)
(2) Travel agencies
Nippon Travel Agency, JTB (JTB Corp.)
As of 27 September. More will be added in the future.
2. Admission tickets/ Admission ticket vouchers
Various types of admission tickets/ admission ticket vouchers will be sold as shown in the table on the next page.
(1) Please note that admission tickets/ admission ticket vouchers sold in shops cannot be used to make advance reservations for pavilions, events, and parking unless you register your Expo ID on the website after purchase.
(2) For the admission ticket voucher, please register your Expo ID and book the date and time of your visit in advance on the website after purchase. Bookings are always required for the following dates, which are expected to be particularly busy:
・26 April – 7 May
・Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 1 June – 8 August
・9 August – 31 August
・13 September – 13 October
Visitors can enter without a booking by exchanging their ticket for a same-day ticket with a QR code in front of the gate after 11am, except on the dates mentioned above. However, if there is a significant number of bookings, admission may not be guaranteed. The situation will be announced on the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan official website and other websites as required.
