The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition has signed a public relations and promotion sponsorship agreement with Sanyo Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Hyogo Prefecture, President: UEKADO Kazuhiro).
Following the conclusion of the agreement Sanyo Electric Railway Co., Ltd. will begin operating trains wrapped with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) designs from Monday, 7 October, 2024, six months before the opening of the Expo to help build momentum.
The train to be wrapped is a 5030 Series train, which is used as a limited express between Sanyo-Himeji Station and Hanshin-Osaka-Umeda Station. In addition, from Wednesday 9 October 2024, both cars of the Sumaura Ropeway will be wrapped with the Expo designs. This will be the first time the Ropeway is wrapped with the designs of the Expo.

From Monday, 7 October, 2024 to Monday, 13 October, 2025 (planned)
Operation is subject to change due to train’s condition, etc.
