The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Master Licensing Office (hereinafter referred to as the “2025MLO”) will release collaboration products with the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) Special Supporter Kumamon on Monday,14 October, 2024.
Kumamon is the Sales Manager and Happiness Manager of Kumamoto Prefecture and is overwhelmingly popular throughout Japan and abroad. He became the first local government character to become a Special Supporter for the Expo on 17 June 2024, 300 days before the opening of the Expo. The Association and the 2025MLO will start selling collaborative products such as pin badges, drawstrings, tenugui hand towels, and zip pouches in order to accelerate momentum building in all parts of Japan at six months before the opening of the Expo.
The collaboration products include a wide range of designs, such as MYAKU-MYAKU and Kumamon chatting, or Kumamon and MYAKU-MYAKU hugging. The products are suitable for a wide range of uses, from knapsacks and tenugui hand towels for everyday use, to key holders that make great souvenirs, photo frames with MYAKU-MYAKU and Kumamon to add colour to your photos, and small table-top banners that can be placed on desks. These products will be sold at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Stores (including the Official Online Store).
In addition, to celebrate the launch, MYAKU-MYAKU and Kumamon will appear at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store Maruzen Marunouchi OAZO Store on 14 October (Monday) to welcome visitors to the shop with a PR event for the Expo and introduction of the collaboration products.

Only those with numbered tickets for each session may participate.
Those with numbered tickets for each session are requested to come to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store on the fourth floor of the Maruzen Marunouchi OAZO Store 10 minutes before the start time.
▽Numbered ticket distribution:
Monday, 14 October, 2024
8:30-9:00 – Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the front entrance of the Maruzen Marunouchi Main Store on the 1st floor.
9:00 – Remaining tickets will be distributed at the cash register dedicated to the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store on the 4th floor.
*The scheduled numbered ticket distribution time may be brought forward in order to reduce congestion.
*Please choose your preferred time from events (1) to (4) and pick up a numbered ticket.
*Each participant can only select one numbered ticket.
*30 numbered tickets will be distributed for each event. (Up to two participants per ticket).

Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Distribution will end as soon as capacity is reached.
Please note that those without numbered tickets will not be able to participate in the event.
