Connecting Seas- A Journey Through the Senses
The Kingdom of Bahrain explores the historical resilience and adaptability of its sea culture through an immersive exhibition that showcases elements of its maritime heritage. The name itself, Al Bahrayn, refers to the two seas of Bahrain, the sea that surrounds its many islands, as well as the freshwater springs that are found within its shallow waters.
As an enduring feature of the Islands of Bahrain, the sea facilitated Bahrain’s transformation from a landmark port of trade to a vibrant financial and tourism destination within the Arabian Gulf.
