Beauty brings Hope
The Holy See Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, hosted within the Italy Pavilion, will explore the theme “Beauty Brings Hope” (La Bellezza porta Speranza). Designed by Mario Cucinella, it highlights beauty’s role in inspiring hope and fostering harmony. The exhibition will feature Caravaggio’s Deposition, symbolizing love, devotion, and faith’s transformative power. The logo, merging Japanese and Catholic traditions, combines St. Peter’s Basilica with Japan’s sun, representing Christ as the Light of the World. This space celebrates art and faith as universal languages of renewal and unity.
