What is the EXPO2025 Digital Wallet?
EXPO2025 Digital Wallet is an app service designed to promote understanding of cashless payments at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, build excitement before the Expo, and help people understand the Expo’s theme of “digital” and “action for the future” while participating in the Expo.
This service is a wallet application based on a dual method using server-managed Web2 (*1) and blockchain (*2) Web3 (*3) domain management methods. It includes “Use/Earn/Collect” and “Connect” features as part of a programme that users can participate in even before the Expo.
- *1 Web2: Dynamic web services with two-way information flow, like the Internet.
- *2 Blockchain: A type of database technology that records information and manages data in units called blocks, which are connected like a chain to store.
- *3 Web3: Decentralised web services using blockchain technology

MYAKU-PO!
“Use” feature in MYAKU-PE!
MYAKU-PE!
MYAKU-PE! is electronic money unique to the Expo that can be loaded via credit card or bank account and used for 2D code payments.
It can be used before the Expo at stores nationwide that accept Visa touch payments, both inside and outside the Expo site.

“Earn” feature in MYAKU-PO!
MYAKU-PO!
Users can earn points even before the Expo opens by participating in various Expo momentum-building and SDGs-related campaigns run by partner companies/organisations, which can then be converted into MYAKU-PO! points.
MYAKU-PO! points can be exchanged for exclusive original goods, admission tickets, services and experiences at the Expo site.

“Collect” feature in MYAKU-N!
MYAKU-N!
Participate in Expo-related events and use MYAKU-PE! and MYAKU-PO! to receive exclusive NFTs that you can’t get anywhere else.

“Connect” feature for “Business Collaboration Services”
We are providing a momentum-building service that “connects” Expo visitors with the Expo in collaboration with pavilions and partner companies/organisations that support the Expo even before it begins.
Using Soul Bound Token (SBT) (*4), created using blockchain technology, users can receive benefits by using SBT, which serves as proof of participation in Expo-related stamp rallies and events outside the Expo site.

Reward Programme
The MYAKU-MYAKU Reward Programme allows you to earn “experience points (exp)” for each status you reach by using MYAKU-PE! and MYAKU-PO! or by participating in Expo-related events, etc. The programme offers rewards according to the user’s status based on their digital wallet usage.
There are seven tiers of status, and the higher your status, the more rewards you can get.
In addition to the status and rewards information announced in the first phase (launched in July 2024), a more enhanced rewards programme was launched in December 2024 as the second phase.
Status-Based Rewards
Rewards can be earned in three different ways depending on user status (see below): rewards for all users, first-come-first-served rewards, and lottery rewards.
