Future Life Experience & TEAM EXPO Pavilion: Future Life and Action for the Future

Connecting Expo Starts with Dialogue

Under the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan seeks to share solutions to problems common to all humankind, gather wisdom, exchange ideas, and co-create a future society.
Future Life Village is a pavilion where people take center stage.
Various participants will bring a wide variety of questions and proposals based on the concepts of “future life” and “action for the future” to generate dialogue among participants and visitors, providing a space for everyone to imagine and co-create the future society together.

The themes of co-creation are “life for the future” and “action for the future”

Best Practices is a program that selects, exhibits, and disseminates high-quality projects that solve issues facing the world.

The exhibits and presentaions will change daily.

The Future Life Village provides a place where participants can connect with each other through two opportunities for co-creation: dialogue through hands-on exhibits that go beyond just “looking” in the Exhibition Hall, and dialogue through presentations that go beyond just “listening” in the Stage Hall.

Design Concept

This exhibition facility incorporates characteristics of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan venue design with the concepts of “decentralisation and dispersion” and “unity in diversity”.
The courtyard, which is inspired by the wetlands of Yumeshima Island, is lined with units where various exhibitions and events are held. Visitors can freely walk around the exhibits through the ring-shaped corridor that connects them.
Light and wind flow through the verdant walls of the courtyard and rainwater is circulated for reuse. The landscape and architecture are closely connected as an attempt to create an environmental space of the future.
A series of semi-outdoor spaces with leaf-like roofs are scattered throughout the building, creating a variety of places that are loosely organized like a pleasant forest.
