Press Release

2022.03.18  Junior Expo Education Programme for the 2021 Academic Year: Exhibition of Posters by Elementary School Students

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will hold an exhibition of posters created by elementary school students as part of the Junior Expo Programme. The posters will be available to view on the Association’s official website and at “Hello Culture” on the 8th floor of the Hanshin department store flagship store in Umeda. The exhibition is an opportunity for the children to share the results of what they have learned through the Junior Expo educational programme.
The exhibition will display posters created by children from each participating elementary school as a summary of their learning, expressing their “Ideas for ‘All’ brilliant lives”.
This programme was launched in October 2020 to encourage children, who will play a leading role in the future, to participate in the run up to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), to learn about the SDGs, think of ideas around the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and increase their interest so that they will want to visit the Expo in 2025.
