2022.07.25 Expo Outcome Design Committee’s “EODC Report” Released

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is pleased to announce that the results of discussion at the Expo Outcome Design Committee (hereinafter referred to as “EODC”) are published as the “EODC Report.” EODC examined the future society that should be implemented at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan from a design perspective.
This report compiles the significance of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan in our time and its expected roles, as well the direction of the project that should be tackled in order to co-create the Expo. The EODC is composed of members who have knowledge and experience in a wide range of industries related to “design”.
Based on the content of this report, embodying People’s Living Lab (hereinafter, “PLL”), which is the concept of Expo 2025 will be achieved through the implementation of a new co-creation project, the “Co-Design Challenge” program. Details of the “Co-Design Challenge” program will be announced in a short period of time.
