2022.10.18 Results announced for the Expo Site Operation Participation of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (2nd round) and Recruitment of Proposals for the “Co-Design Challenge” Program

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition recruited proposals for the second time for Expo Site Operation Participation of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and the special program “Co-Design Challenge” from July 26 to September 16, 2022. A total of 538 proposals were received from 205 companies and organizations. In addition, 58 companies and organizations submitted a total of 79 proposals for the ”Co-Design Challenge”, a special program held along with 2nd round recruitment for the Expo Site Operation Participation.
In order to make the Expo even more attractive and to create a comfortable site for all visitors, the Association is currently in discussions with a number of companies to conclude a sponsorship agreement for the facilities, goods, and services necessary for the site operation, and when each negotiation is complete, the Association will conclude the contract and make an announcement as needed.
In late October, the Association plans to call for uniform sponsorships for Expo Site Operation Participation (for the 3rd recruitment). In addition, since the Association has received applications from a large number of companies and organizations, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Association is preparing to launch the 4th call for proposals around December 2022, which will be of the same scale as the 2nd call for Expo Site Operation Participation. The Association welcomes a wide variety of companies and organizations, regardless of size, from all over Japan to participate in this project.

e-learning systems, firefighting vehicles (future-oriented), goods related to measures against heat, voice recognition and translation terminals, QR authentication reading terminals, surveillance cameras (for on-site emergency broadcast speaker), services for food poisoning prevention, stage video equipment and large LED screen, pest and vermin investigation services, entrance/exit control systems for staff, etc.
