Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) will be an excellent opportunity for children who will be leaders of the next era to learn about and experience the SDGs, world cultures, and cutting-edge technologies.
On March 30, 2023, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will open a new “School Trip Navi” on the Expo’s official website to disseminate the latest information and make appeals for the Expo as a destination for school trips in the hope that many children will visit the Expo.
The Association launched an educational program targeting elementary and junior high schools in October 2020. At this time, two years before the Expo, the Association will be fully engaged in efforts to attract school trips toward 2025, and in February 2023, the Association prepared a “school trip pamphlet” for school officials and held three “school trip briefing sessions” for travel agencies.

The Association will strengthen cooperation with a wide range of stakeholders, including the national government, local governments, educators, travel industry officials, and economic organizations, to more aggressively develop initiatives to attract school trips.
