The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will hold a variety of events to strongly communicate the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” and to create opportunities for visitors to experience Japanese and world cultures and to enjoy them.
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Event Planning Committee will be established with members who have a thorough understanding of the Expo and outstanding expertise for the aim of planning events suitable for the Expo. The first meeting is scheduled to be held in June 2023.
The Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Event Planning Committee will consider the following agenda items at the request of the Association for the purpose of contributing to the planning of events appropriate for the Expo.
(1) Event organization policy and event proposals
(2) Criteria for judging the Association cooperative events and public participation events
(3) Other important matters related to event planning
The Association will serve as the secretariat, and will prepare for the committee to ensure the effective functioning of the Event Planning Committee, working with Event Planning Producer KOHASHI Kenji.
