On November 30, 2023, 500 days before the opening of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will hold the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan 500 Days to Go Before the Opening of the Expo Event — Admission tickets finally on sale!” in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.
The Tokyo event will reiterate the significance and attraction of hosting the Expo, and demonstrate and introduce the types, prices, and purchase methods of admission tickets for the Expo, which finally go on sale on November 30.
In addition, various events will be held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka to celebrate the start of admission ticket sales, including the special illumination of Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree®.
Other than the above, information summarizing the schedule of events, activities, and participation programs to be held in conjunction with the 500th day mark before the opening of the Expo has been posted on the Association’s official website. We hope that a wide variety of people will participate in the Expo, and we will work to create excitement and build momentum in many locations 500 days before the opening of the Expo.

▼ “500 Days Before the Opening of the Expo Event” – Introduction of the attractions of the Expo and admission tickets

Moderator MASAI Maya and facilitator KUNIYAMA Hasen will lead the session, and invited guests First Summer Uika and FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE will introduce the attractions of the Expo together with ISHIKAWA Masaru, Expo Site Operation Producer. We will demonstrate and introduce the types of admission tickets that will be on sale starting Thursday, November 30, 2023, as well as their prices and how to purchase them. Panel displays will provide an overview of past Expos and Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, as well as information on admission tickets, which go on sale on November 30.
The stage event will feature MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of the Expo. Ms. YAMADA Tomiyo, the “Grandma of Expos” who lives in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture, will make an appearance and talk about the charms of Expos.

An Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan design sheet, featuring Japan’s largest MYAKU-MYAKU, will be wrapped around the southeast exterior wall of the Osaka Station City South Gate Building in conjunction with the 500th day mark before the opening of the Expo.
To coincide with the 500th day mark before the Expo, around the end of November, we will start offering an EXPO 2025 MYAKU-MYAKU Filter, the official AR filter for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, which allows you to take photos and videos with MYAKU-MYAKU on your Instagram Reels and Stories.
