Official pop-up stores commemorating 500 days to go before the opening of the Expo will also open in Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and other locations in western Japan.
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Master Licensing Office (hereinafter referred to as the “2025MLO”) hereby announce that the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Official Store – Maruzen Marunouchi OAZO Store” will open on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, as the first official store in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
By opening an official store in Marunouchi, Tokyo, where a diverse range of people gather from Japan and abroad for business, tourism and more, we will continue to promote Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), which will mark 500 days to go before its opening on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
The products that will be carried are official licensed products, including products of MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of the Expo. New products designed to commemorate 500 days to go before the opening of the Expo as well as new book covers and bookmarks unique to the Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore, which handles books and stationery, will be available for pre-sale. In addition, the “INSTAX mini 12TM EXPO2025” instant camera and the “INSTAX mini Link 2TM EXPO2025” smartphone printer from the high-profile Chexi series will also go on sale.
