The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) has been collaborating with various companies and organisations in the run up to the Expo, using blockchain-based NFTs*, a cutting-edge technology, to provide a momentum-building service that “connects” users with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (herein referred to as “the Expo”) through the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet.
In cooperation with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kansai Area, which comprises all 71 chambers of commerce and industry in the seven prefectures of the Kansai region,  the “Kansai Sightseeing NFT Stamp Rally” will launch on 12 April, one year before the opening of the Expo. It will take users on a tour of tourist facilities and other sites under the jurisdiction of chambers of commerce and industry in various parts of the Kansai region. In the first stage, the stamp rally will be held in cooperation with five chambers of commerce and industry in Osaka, Otsu, Kaizuka, Fukuchiyama, and Wakayama. It will later be expanded to other areas of the Kansai region in cooperation with other chambers of commerce and industry.
Participants can obtain an original NFT stamps by visiting tourist facilities in the jurisdiction of the chambers of commerce and industry in the Kansai region by following the stamp rally introduction page in the app and scanning the QR codes placed in each location.

* NFT (Non-Fungible Token): Irreplaceable digital data created based on a blockchain. This rally will use SBT (Soul Bound Token) , a type of NFT technology, which cannot be tampered with and cannot be transferred to another party. This is expected to be a new technology that can be used for participation certificates, etc.

・Period: From Friday, 12 April 2024 to Monday, 13 October 2025

● How to Participate
　① Download the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet app and access the information about the “Kansai Excursion NFT Stamp Rally” in the app.
　② Following the instructions, visit tourist facilities and other places in the jurisdiction of the chambers of commerce and industry in the Kansai region, and use the app to read the 2D code to obtain the NFT stamps.
　③ Original NFT stamps from each facility can be earned and collected in the app.
