2024.06.21 Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan “International Participants Meeting (IPM 2024 Summer)” To Be Held

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will host the “International Participants Meeting/IPM 2024 Summer” (hereinafter referred to as “IPM”) on June 25 and 26.
This international meeting aims to provide various information regarding pavilion exhibitions to foreign governments and international organisations that have confirmed their participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”). Following from the previous IPM, this also will be the official two-day participants meeting for all exhibition types. The Association will give a wide range of guidance and have various discussions regarding how to proceed with the preparation of the construction of the interiors and exteriors of the pavilions and the exhibitions, the preparation of the operation of the pavilions. In addition, we will have event planning and exchange session that will be useful for event planning during the exhibition.

  3. Venue: Nara Prefecture
  4. Participants: Among Expo directors from foreign governments and international organisations to which the invitations to participate in the Expo were sent, those who have confirmed their participation, or those planning or considering confirming their participation.
  5. Expected number of participants: Around 160 foreign governments and international organisations

    ▽ Main programmes
    ○ Explanation and Q&A session on various regulations regarding venue and pavilion operations, guidelines for hiring staff member and communications, etc., event planning and management, and global promotion plans.
    ○ Follow-up on development plans for exhibits, interior construction, etc. for each exhibit type.
    ○ Planning and exchange sessions that will serve as a reference for planning events during the exhibition.
