On Wednesday, 31 July 2024, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will hold a general information session titled “Let’s join Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan!” in the seminar room in Osaka ATC Green Eco Plaza (ATC ITM Building 11F, 2-1-10 Nanko-Kita, Suminoe-ku, Osaka City).
The most significant feature of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) is that a diverse range of participants can take initiative inside and outside the venue, including in the run-up to the Expo, to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs from their own perspectives, in an attempt to not just imagine a future society but to create a realistic picture action.
The aim of this session is to explain the programmes that are still open for participation to individual groups and organisations at the Expo, to familiarise people with each programme, and to encourage wider participation in the Expo in order to realise the theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”.

Note: Prior application is required to participate in the in-person event.

As part of its “Future Actions”, the TEAM EXPO 2025 programme aims to realise the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, including in the run-up to the event, and to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs, with diverse participants in Japan and abroad taking the initiative to create an ideal future society together.
Approximately 3,000 groups will be recruited from the participants to present their achievements at the Expo site, as well as engage in “dialogue with visitors and exhibitors with the aim of new co-creation toward the realisation of future society.

　　The Association is asking for cooperation from companies and organisations that would like to use the Expo PR tools, video, and theme song to help make the Expo more exciting. Please consider using various PR tools such as posters and stickers, broadcasting the video on signage and using the theme song at events.
