2024.07.04 IHARA Rikka Appointed as Special Supporter of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that IHARA Rikka has been appointed as a Special Supporter of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) to lend her support with promotional activities. (Appointed on 4 July 2024)

IHARA Rikka is from Osakasayama City, Osaka Prefecture. She is active as an actor in films and TV dramas, as a radio personality, and in a wide range of other fields.
She will cooperate in various promotional activities for the Expo as a Special Supporter.

Profile of IHARA Rikka
IHARA was born in 1999. She is the former captain of the dance club at Osaka Prefectural Tomioka High School, which came to prominence with its ‘bubbly dance’. In addition to film and theatre roles, she has also appeared in TV dramas including NHK TV series. In April 2024 she starred in the NTV drama ‘The Wife Who Was Deprived of Her Liver (Kanzo wo Ubawareta Tsuma)’ and became a personality on MBS radio’s ‘Young Town’.

Ever since it was decided that the Expo would be held in Osaka, I have always hoped to be involved in some way, shape or form, so I am delighted to be able to act as a special supporter.
I feel that Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will be a time of many revelations, with new technologies and other things that will make me feel very excited about my future. It also has an entertainment element, so I am excited and can’t wait to go. I will do my best to make Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan a great success together with you all.

■ What is a “Special Supporter”?
Special Supporters is a group of supporters for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan made up of people, groups, characters, etc. with many fans that can use their influence to convey the appeal and philosophy of the Expo.
The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will continue to increase the number of people interested in the Expo by having various people join as Special Supporters.
