・First Aid Training Lecturer: USHIDA Takashi and Osaka Municipal Fire Department
Mr. USHIDA Takashi suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest at the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan and was quickly rehabilitated by a nearby visitor using an AED and appropriate first aid. He now gives lectures to share his experience. At the workshop, based on his own experience, he said, “I am sure there will be people who will collapse at the Expo. Their families just want someone to save their lives. The person who is nearest to the person who collapses is the one who can do that.” He also said, “Please make it a wonderful Expo where no one dies.”
Afterwards, the Osaka Municipal Fire Department provided practical guidance on first aid training.
