The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that applications for the Super Early Bird Special Lottery will be open from Wednesday, 25 September to Sunday, 6 October. The Super Early Bird Special Lottery allows purchasers of Super Early Bird One-Day Tickets to book pavilions and events before booking their visit date and time, which they can do from Sunday 13 October 2024.
In order to ensure the safe and smooth movement of visitors, a booking system for visiting dates and times, and pavilions and events has been introduced at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”). Pavilion and events bookings can normally be made up to three months in advance, but the Super Early Bird One-Day Tickets, which is available at a reduced price, allows visitors to apply for the Super Early Bird Special Lottery, which allows them to make bookings for pavilions and events earlier than normal ticket holders.
Super Early Bird One-Day Tickets are on sale until Sunday 6 October.
■ Overview of the Super Early Bird Special Lottery
Eligible persons: Those who have registered their Expo ID and purchased a ‘Super Early Bird One-Day Ticket’. And those who have ‘additionally registered’ a ticket ID for a ‘Super Early Bird One-Day Ticket’ in My Ticket.

How to apply: Log in to the EXPO 2025 digital ticketing website and go to the ‘Booking and Lottery’ menu and apply.
Applicable pavilions and events: You can apply for the pavilions and events registered for the ‘Super Early Bird Special Lottery’ on all dates during the Expo period.
Application period: Wednesday, 25 September – Sunday, 6 October
Announcement of results: Monday, 7 October – Saturday, 12 October (only winners will be notified)
Notification method: Winners will receive a notification email to the email address registered to their Expo ID. The results can also be confirmed in the ‘Messages’ section after logging in to the EXPO 2025 digital ticketing website.
■ Points of the Super Early Bird Special Lottery
Point 1 ▶ Chance to be the first to confirm one or more advance bookings.
For tickets other than the Super Early Bird One-Day Ticket, bookings for visit date and time* can be made from six months before the desired visit date, and the lottery for pavilions and events opens three months before the visit date.
However, winners of the ‘Super Early Bird Special Lottery’ can secure their bookings for pavilions and events by Saturday 12 October 2024, which will also allow them to secure their visit date and time early.
*After purchasing your admission ticket, you will need to make a booking for your visit date and time in advance. Bookings will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from six months before the desired date and time of the visit.
However, some events do not have a set start time and are therefore not eligible for the “Super Early Bird Special Lottery.” In such cases, you can select only the “date and time of your visit” for the event in question in the “Super Early Bird Special Lottery,” and then apply for the ‘2-month advance lottery’ or ‘7-day advance lottery’ for the event at a later date.
Point 2 ▶You can register up to five choices.
In the Super Early Bird Special Lottery, you can select up to your fifth choice of pavilion or event. If you want to visit on a specific date and time, you can choose a different pavilion or event on the same day, or you can choose different dates for the same pavilion or event if you want to be sure of getting a reservation for a specific pavilion or event.
Point 3 ▶ If you are not selected, you will still have another chance!
Even if you are not successful in the ‘Super Early Bird Special Lottery’ and do not get a booking for the pavilion or event of your choice, you can try again by making a booking for your visit date and time months before your desired date and applying for the’2-month advance lottery’ or→7-day advance lottery’. Including the first-come, first-served bookings for remaining available slots reservation, you can book up to three pavilions or events before the day of your visit.

| Today we start accepting applications for the Super Early Bird Special Lottery. Admission tickets have been on sale since 30 November 2023 and many people have already purchased their tickets. I think many of those who have already purchased admission tickets have been looking forward to this lottery.
