On Monday, 10 February 2025, the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) held the fifth general assembly meeting of the Momentum Fostering Committee, which was established to further increase nationwide interest in, willingness to visit, and participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
The initiatives and activities during the second PR focus period, based on the “Action Plan for Building Momentum ver. 2,” were summarized. Opinions were also exchanged on the initiative policy for the third PR focus period, which is the final stage of momentum-building activities, and improvements to ticket sales promotion.
In addition, new key visuals using the Grand Ring, the symbol of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and a promotional video featuring Hello Kitty, a globally popular character representing Japan and a special supporter of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and “MYAKU-MYAKU” the official character of the Expo, were presented. The attraction of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, which opens soon, will be widely promoted through the Expo’s official website, official social media, and various other media. The Association is doing everything in its power to build momentum to ensure the success of the Expo.
