We regret to inform visitors that the water basins in the Forest of Tranquillity at the Expo site are currently unavailable for use due to the following reasons.
On the night of 28 May 2025, an inspection conducted by the Venue Hygiene Monitoring Centre in accordance with the Monitoring and Guidance Plan resulted in a preliminary report indicating the detection of Legionella bacteria concentrations exceeding the standard values set out in the aforementioned plan.
*The detection report is dated 4 June.
Based on advice from the Venue Hygiene Monitoring Centre, the water basins on the south and west sides of the Forest of Tranquillity were drained and have been out of use since the morning of 30 May.
The water basins will be reopened after cleaning, disinfection, and inspections are carried out.
