The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will introduce a new shuttle bus route between Cosmosquare Station and the West Gate of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Site from 29 June in addition to the Asian and Pacific Trade Center (ATC) route, which was launched on 15 June. This new shuttle bus route is intended to help ease congestion at the East Gate and on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line, and to increase transport capacity to the West Gate.
Also, from 1 July, the first Sakurajima Station shuttle bus will depart earlier, and an increased number of buses will run between 07:00 and 10:59.
Cosmosquare Route
・Operating Route: Cosmosquare Station to Yumeshima Transportation Terminal 1.
・Operation Period: Sunday, 29 June to Monday, 13 October 2025
・Fare: JPY \350 one way
・Journey Time: Approximately 15 minutes one way
・Reservations: Required (can be made until 5 minutes before departure)

・Reservation method: Reservations can be made via the “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan’s West Gate Shuttle Bus

Outbound: Sakurajima Station → Expo Site
The first departure will be brought forward from 8:00 to 7:45 (a total of 9 additional departures during this period).
17 additional buses will depart during peak hours between 8:00 and 10:59.
Return: Expo Site → Sakurajima Station
While operations after 23:00 will be based on that day’s visitor numbers, 25 additional buses will depart during the peak return hours between 19:00 and 21:59.
