The “Japan Fireworks Expo (a famous firework festival from Omagari in Akita Prefecture)” will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) on Saturday, 28 June 2025. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors, we will be placing limits on entry and exit to the top of the Grand Ring and the area between the Water Plaza and the Inochi Park. Please note that due to security reasons, the exact time of the fireworks display will not be announced. We thank you for your understanding.
About Entry and Exit Limits to the Grand Ring and Between the Water Plaza and Inochi Park
Entry to the top of the Grand Ring and the area between the Water Plaza and the Inochi Park will be limited depending on the level of crowding in those areas. After the fireworks display, exit from the areas will be regulated. To ensure the safety of all visitors we kindly request your cooperation in following the instructions of security personnel, staff, and announcements.
*The timing of the entry/exit regulations will be determined based on the levels of crowing on the day.
*To avoid congestion, please do not stop near the restricted areas shown on the map below and keep moving at a steady pace.

EXPO Night Picnic at the EXPO Arena “Matsuri”
On 28 June, the EXPO Arena “Matsuri” will be open until 20:30. Visitors are free to bring their own food and beverages, as well as those purchased from nearby shops and restaurants. Please enjoy the fireworks in a relaxed atmosphere on the lawn.
The large LED screen “EXPO Vision” on the stage will show various scenes from the Expo from around 18:30 onwards, as well as video footage of previous fireworks that have been launched at the Expo site. Please enjoy the special fireworks experience unique to the Expo.
* The lawn area will be open from 10:00 on the day of the event.
* Food and drink will not be distributed or sold within the EXPO Arena “Matsuri”. Tables and chairs will not be provided, so please bring your own picnic blankets, folding chairs, etc. if necessary.
Change of Start Time of “One World, One Planet.”
Due to the Japan Fireworks Expo, the starting time of “One World, One Planet.” will be changed to 20:42 on 28 June.
Please Be Aware That There May Be Congestion When Returning Home
After the fireworks display and “One World, One Planet.”, heavy congestion is expected at both the East and West Gates as well as on public transportation, so please make sure that you allow plenty of time for your return.
