The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will open a new food and beverage area, EXPO Sunset Beer Terrace, on Saturday, 19 July 2025 at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) to enhance the visitor services and improve circulation at the Expo site in the evenings.
This EXPO Sunset Beer Terrace is located at the West Group Rest Area, which offers a particularly beautiful evening view. Food trucks and other food and beverage booths will be set up in a spacious area that can accommodate up to approximately 1,800 people. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant evening with food and drink in the open air.

・Purpose
As the “West Group Rest Area” is conveniently located looking out at the beautiful sunset over Osaka Bay, this area has been established to encourage use of the area in the evening and will be used as a space where food and drink, including alcohol, can be consumed*..
In principle visitors are not permitted to consume alcohol within the Expo site, except in specific areas and facilities.

– Maximum capacity: 1,800 people (*Variable depending on the use of the West Group Rest Area)
– Food and beverage stations will be set up in the EXPO Sunset Beer Terrace.
– Food and drink can also be brought in from neighbouring areas (food and beverage facilities located in front of the West Gate and those in the Future Life Zone).
