最終更新 2025.08.07 2025.07.28 Early Visit Date and Time Reservations Recommended Ahead of Transition to Sales of Tickets with Specified Visit Dates and Times

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) will close on Monday, 13 October 2025. Based on past World Expos, an extremely large number of visitors are expected in the final months of every exposition period. Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan is also anticipated to be very crowded from September onwards until the end of the Expo period, and it is expected to become difficult to secure reservations for your preferred date and time. We therefore strongly recommend that you make reservations for your preferred dates and times as early as possible.

In light of this situation, starting Monday, 18 August, the official ticket website will begin selling only tickets with specified dates and times* so that visitors can check availability in advance and select their preferred visit dates and times when purchasing tickets. Additionally, sales of tickets without specified visit dates and times will be discontinued on the official ticket site on Sunday, 17 August, and sales of Season Passes and Summer Passes without specified visit dates and times will also be discontinued.

* Visit dates can be changed up to three times after ticket purchase. (However, please note that any reservations for pavilions or events will be automatically cancelled when changing the visit date.)

Early Visit Date and Time Reservations Recommended

If you already have admission tickets, please be sure to make your reservation as early as possible.
Please note that purchased tickets are non-refundable even if you are unable to secure your preferred visit date and time.

The Expo also offers various events and programmes that are available exclusively during the summer holidays, so we recommend visiting in August. Please make the most of the summer holiday season when it is easier to visit from distant locations or with family.
We look forward to seeing you at the Expo site.
