Regarding the Accident on a Sakurajima Station Shuttle Bus
On Monday, 4 August 2025, at approximately 18:57 an accident occurred on a shuttle bus bound for Sakurajima Station from Yumeshima on the road in front of 2-52 Shimaya 6-chome, Konohana-ku, Osaka City.
According to a report from the bus operator, Osaka City Bus Corporation, another vehicle suddenly cut in front of the bus from the left lane, causing the driver to break suddenly to avoid a collision.
Of the approximately 20 passengers seated on the bus, one elementary school student was injured when their face struck the divider in front of them.
