2025.08.20 Notice Regarding the “Japan Fireworks Expo” on 23 August

The “Japan Fireworks Expo” will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) on Saturday, 23 August 2025. In order to ensure the safety and comfort of visitors, we will be placing limits on entry and exit to the top of the Grand Ring and the area between the Water Plaza and the south side of the Forest of Tranquility.

About Entry and Exit Limits to the Grand Ring and Between the Water Plaza and the South Side of the Forest of Tranquility
Entry to the top of the Grand Ring and the area between the Water Plaza and the south side of the Forest of Tranquility will be limited depending on the level of crowding in those areas. After the fireworks display, exit from the areas will be regulated. To ensure the safety of all visitors we kindly request your cooperation in following the instructions of security personnel, staff, and announcements.
* The timing of the entry/exit regulations will be determined based on the levels of crowding on the day.
* To avoid congestion, please do not stop near the restricted areas shown on the map below and keep moving at a steady pace.

Please Be Aware That There May Be Congestion When Returning Home
After the fireworks display, which begins at 19:19 and “One World, One Planet.”, which begins at 20:57, heavy congestion is expected at both the East and West Gates as well as on public transportation, so please make sure that you allow plenty of time for your return.
