[Information on numbered ticket distribution and venue area regulations has been updated] The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition is pleased to announce that the “USJ ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ Special Event” will be held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”). This event will not be held throughout the entire Expo site, but will be a stage event held in a specific area (Pop-Up Stage North).
For the safety of visitors, numbered tickets will be required to enter the event viewing area.

*Please note that the venue will be cleared and reset after each session ends, and it is not possible to participate in consecutive sessions.

Event Overview:
This event will take place on stage at “Pop-Up Stage North”. The zombies that appear in swarms every Halloween night at Universal Studios Japan’s (operated by USJ LLC) “Halloween Horror Nights,” throwing the park’s streets into fear and chaos with screams and mayhem, have escaped the park and will invade the night at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. When the specially written song “SO BAD” by King Gnu suddenly echoes across the Expo site, the zombies will launch into their frenzied “Zombie de Dance.” Visitors can also dance together with the ferocious zombies, the creepy bear “Hami-Kuma” who is an ever-popular character from “Halloween Horror Nights”, and the Expo official character “MYAKU-MYAKU,” transforming the Expo site into a frenzy of excitement. After dancing to the end, visitors will leave feeling completely refreshed both inside and out, bursting with energy.
[Numbered Ticket Distribution Information]
• Distribution begins: 9:00 on the day of the event
• Distribution location: Under the Grand Ring on the north side of “Pop-Up Stage North”
• Times to arrive at the venue:
・Performance: 20:30 (Arrive by: 19:45)
・Performance: 18:30 (Arrive by: 17:30)
・Performance: 19:30 (Arrive by: 18:45)
*Numbered tickets will be limited to one per person. Please wear the wristband you receive along with your numbered ticket.
*You will not be able to attend multiple performances. Numbered tickets will only be distributed for one performance per person.
*Numbered tickets will only be distributed if all of your group members are present.
*Numbered tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and will end once all tickets have been distributed.
*The end of ticket distribution will be announced on EXPO Visitors and official social media.
*Please view from your designated viewing area. Some locations may have partially obstructed view. We ask for your understanding.
*If you are late for your designated arrival time, your numbered ticket will become invalid.
*Numbered tickets cannot be reissued if lost or damaged.
*Numbered tickets cannot be transferred or resold.
*The content and operation of the performance may be changed or cancelled due to weather or for safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
Important Notes
・This event can only be viewed within the viewing area set up by the organisers.
The viewing area is the area enclosed by cones and other barriers around Pop-Up Stage North.
*Viewing is not permitted outside the viewing area. Due to congestion, the surrounding pathways may become difficult to pass through. We ask for your understanding.
*The method of managing queues for the event may change depending on the level of congestion, so please follow the instructions of the staff.
・This event will be held as scheduled in the case of light rain but cancelled in case of heavy rain. The event may also be changed or cancelled due to severe weather, earthquakes, or other social circumstances.
・Please check the latest updates on EXPO 2025 Visitors.
・Please note that large crowds are expected on the day, so entry to the Expo site may be restricted depending on crowd levels. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
・The event will be operated with consideration for children and visitors who are not comfortable with horror.
However, as it contains intense content with strong stimuli, preschool children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Participation by children aged 12 and under, including those in primary school, should be at the discretion of their parent or guardian.
・There are no changing areas available for changing into cosplay outfits or costumes. Changing in the toilets is prohibited as it may inconvenience other visitors.
・Costumes or cosplay outfits/items that may disturb other visitors, cause discomfort or fear, or cover most of the face such as full-face masks (except for those required for medical purposes) may result in refusal of entry to the Expo site. For safety reasons, visitors wearing these may also be asked to remove such items from their head or face.
