2025.08.30 Expo 2025 is Coming to a Close Soon! “EXPO Thanks Fireworks Display” to Light Up the Night Sky at the Expo!

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that the “EXPO Thanks Fireworks Display” will illuminate the night sky above the Expo site in September and October.
With only a short time left until the end of the Expo, we will be holding a fireworks display to express our gratitude to all the visitors and everyone involved in making the Expo a success. Please enjoy this special experience available only this year at the Expo site!

Saturday 6 September, Saturday 13 September, Saturday 20 September, Saturday 27 September, Saturday 4 October, Wednesday 8 October, Sunday 12 October, Monday 13 October
*The fireworks displays on Saturday 27 September, Wednesday 8 October, and Monday 13 October will be larger-scale than on the other days.

Important Notes
– Each display scheduled to last approximately 5 minutes.
– The displays on Saturday 6 September, Saturday 13 September, and Saturday 20 September are scheduled to start around 18:59. The display times from Saturday 27 September onwards are currently being finalised.
– The displays on Saturday 27 September and Wednesday 8 October have been renamed from “Japan Fireworks Expo”.
– Fireworks displays may be cancelled without prior notice due to weather conditions or other circumstances. The size of the fireworks, the number launched, and the duration may also vary from day to day.
– Please be aware that depending on the wind direction, embers from fireworks may fall during the fireworks display. After the fireworks have finished, if you happen to find any unexploded fireworks, please do not touch them and inform staff nearby.
