The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce that the “EXPO Thanks Fireworks Display” will illuminate the night sky above the Expo site in September and October.
With only a short time left until the end of the Expo, we will be holding a fireworks display to express our gratitude to all the visitors and everyone involved in making the Expo a success. Please enjoy this special experience available only this year at the Expo site!

Dates
Saturday 6 September, Saturday 13 September, Saturday 20 September, and every day after Thursday 25 September
*The fireworks displays on Saturday 27 September, Wednesday 8 October, Saturday 11 October, Sunday 12 October, and Monday 13 October will be larger-scale than on the other days.
Important Notes
– Each display scheduled to last approximately 5 minutes.
– The displays on Saturday 6 September, Saturday 13 September, and Saturday 20 September are scheduled to start around 18:59. The display from Thursday 25 September onwards are scheduled to start around 18:35.
– The displays on Saturday 27 September and Wednesday 8 October have been renamed from “Japan Fireworks Expo”.
– Fireworks displays may be cancelled without prior notice due to weather conditions or other circumstances. The size of the fireworks, the number launched, and the duration may also vary from day to day.
– Please be aware that depending on the wind direction, embers from fireworks may fall during the fireworks display. After the fireworks have finished, if you happen to find any unexploded fireworks, please do not touch them and inform staff nearby.
