The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) launched the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme in 2020 with the aim of bringing together a diverse range of participants to create an ideal future society and realise the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
As of the end of August 2025, approximately 2,900 companies; education, academic and research institutes (universities, research laboratories, etc); national and government-related organisations (incorporated administrative agencies etc.); international organisations; NGOs; NPOs; and various other groups have participated in the programme and are carrying out their co-creation activities.
New applications for the “TEAM EXPO 2025” programme will close in conjunction with the closing of the Expo. Details below.
