2025.10.01 A Flag Parade Will Be Held on the Closing Day of Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan!

On 13 October, the closing day of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), a Flag Parade will be held to express gratitude to everyone involved in the Expo. The parade will feature colourful flags from 158 countries and regions, seven international organizations, and other organizations participating in the Expo, fluttering in the wind and filling the Expo site with colour.

<Date and Time>
Monday 13 October 2025 (Japanese National Holiday) 16:00-17:00 (planned)
*The parade will be held rain or shine, but will be cancelled in the event of a storm.

<Location>
The Parade will start from West Gate Plaza (near EXPO Arena “Matsuri”), proceed past Pop-Up Stage West, and proceed clockwise under the Grand Ring to the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion.
*The time and route of the parade may be changed depending on weather conditions.

The Flag Parade will feature colourful flags fluttering in the wind, filling the Expo site with their vibrant hues. On the closing day of the Expo, participants from around the world will come together at the Expo site, sharing this special moment while feeling a sense of connection and hope for the future.

The Flag Parade aims to express gratitude and joy to all those involved in the Expo, including visitors, participants, and exhibitors from Japan and abroad. It will also allow participants to rediscover the Expo’s theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” and pass on its legacy.

As with other parades, viewing areas and pathways will be restricted for safety reasons.
