The intellectual property* of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will continue to be protected under the Trademark Act, Unfair Competition Prevention Act, Copyright Act, etc. even after the conclusion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”).
*Intellectual property: all names identifying the Expo, such as “Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan”, and “EXPO 2025,” as well as the official logo, official character, character name, and design system, etc.
Any unauthorised or improper use or misappropriation of this intellectual property will be punished by law.
Management of this intellectual property will continue to be managed by the Association and the Master Licensing Office.
