Designing a future society for our lives
Chad is a landlocked country in central Africa that includes the Sahara Desert in the north and a Savanna
zone in the south.
The content of the Chad exhibition is ‘designing a future society for our lives’.
This development plan that extends to 2030 reflects the wishes and determination of the government,
which is aiming to achieve long-term development.
Specifically, the plan is to accelerate structural changes in society, the economy, and the environment to
create the conditions for sustainable development.
The exhibits will also showcase initiatives focused on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), pursued together with the UN system.
It incorporates efforts to reduce poverty and inequality, improve social services, and bolster the ability to
bounce back from natural disasters.
