When people think of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan one character immediately comes to mind: MYAKU-MYAKU. At first glance, this blue-bodied, red-headed, multi-eyed mascot might seem a little odd, but it quickly charms its way into everyone’s heart. It’s hard to talk about the Expo without mentioning MYAKU-MYAKU, whose presence has become iconic across the entire Expo site.

MYAKU-MYAKU House is very popular with visitors.

At the bustling MYAKU-MYAKU House pavilion, fans can learn about the character’s backstory, explore the symbolism of its design, and take photos with the mascot itself. With only 60 visitors allowed per session and 16 sessions daily, spaces fill up quickly. Many people arrive early in the morning. Those lucky enough to join a session walk away thrilled, thanks to the cheerful staff who take high-quality photos and help make the experience feel truly special.
