The Bureau International des Expositions and the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition held the official BIE Day ceremony and awards ceremony on Sunday 12 October at EXPO Hall “Shining Hat” at the site of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

The BIE day is a day for the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and its member countries to celebrate the closing of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan reflect on their collective achievements and strengthen their cooperation for the future.
The official ceremony featured speeches from representatives of the BIE and Japan, as well as cultural performances by the organisers of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the International Horticultural Expo 2027 Yokohama, Expo 2027 Belgrade, Serbia, and Expo 2030, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
