Medical Facilities
(Clinics and First Aid Stations)

If you feel ill or suffer an injury at the Expo site, please contact a nearby staff member or security guard. First aid will be provided at medical clinics (three locations, doctors and nurses on duty) and first aid stations (five locations, nurses on duty).

Hours: 9:00-22:00 *The East Gate and North Grand Ring clinics will operate from 9:00-16:30.
The West Gate Clinic and the five first aid stations will continue to be open after 16:30.

Accessibility Center

How to use: Anyone is welcome to use this facility. (Other accompanying group members are also welcome to wait inside.)
Hours: 9:00~22:00
*Lending service is available until 21:00

The Accessibility Center provides support for guests through services such as written and sign language communication and the lending of wheelchairs, walking aids and other accessibility related items.

Free Rental Service

Wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge for visitors with mobility issues so that they can comfortably enjoy the Expo.

How to borrow: After getting a ticket at the reception machine, please enquire with the staff.

Note:The wheelchairs can only be used within the Expo site. Numbers are limited to one wheelchair per person.

● Walking Aids
Walking aids are available to borrow free of charge for visitors with mobility issues so that they can comfortably enjoy the Expo.

How to borrow: After getting a ticket at the reception machine, please enquire with the staff.

Note: The walking aids can only be used within the Expo site. Numbers are limited to one walking aid per person.

● Other Items
Please enquire with our staff about borrowing other items such as canes and hearing amplifiers (cartilage conduction sound collectors) free of charge.
Lending of rain gear for wheelchairs and rain gear for assistance dogs is planned to start from June.

Other Services

● Services for People Who Have Difficulty With Spoken Communication
〇Written communication using the Swipe Talk app.
The Swipe Talk app displays spoken words on the screen in the location traced by the user’s finger. This can be used to assist in communication with people who are hard of hearing or from other countries. Our staff will respond to your enquiry using this app.
〇Remote Sign Language Interpretation Service
Service hours: 9:00-18:00
Sign language interpreters are available to assist visitors remotely.

Speech in 13 languages, including Japanese, is recognised and displayed on a transparent screen as highly accurate translated text.
This is a universal communication translation service that allows users to interact with others while still being able to see their facial expressions. ● Distribution of Help Mark Tags
This tag allows people to let others around them know that they need assistance or special consideration even if their condition is not visibly apparent. Help Mark Tags are also available outside the Expo site. For more information, please click the link below.

We provide support so that people who had given up on going to Expo 2025 (elderly people, people with disabilities, etc.) can still go and enjoy it.

-escorting these individuals around the Expo site

Lost Child Center and Baby Center

This is a service centre for visitors with small children.
How to Use: Free to use by visitors and accompanying persons.

Free Rental Service

● Pushchairs/Stollers
To ensure the comfort of younger visitors and their guardians, pushchairs/strollers are available to borrow free of charge.

Age limit: 1 month old to 4 years old (48 months)
Weight limit: 18 kg or less
Size: (when in use) 525 mm (width) x 756 mm (depth) x 1039 mm (height)
(When folded) 525 mm (width) x 419 mm (depth) x 984 mm (height)

Other Services

● Lost Child Support
If your child is lost, please contact the nearest member of staff or information centre immediately. The Lost Child Center will provide temporary care for lost children who are in our custody.

● Lost Child Wristband
In addition, Lost Child Wristbands are also available at the Lost Child Center to call lost parents.

● Children’s Toilet and Baby Care
Nursing rooms, baby changing stations, and children’s toilets are available. Please enquire with our staff about facilities with hot water for preparing milk.

● Pod Type Baby Care Rooms
These are fully private spaces where you can breastfeed, bottle feed and change diapers. There are 3 locations in the facility.

Quiet Rooms

These rooms provide a peaceful space where visitors can rest and recover if they feel over-stimulated, stressed, or dysregulated. They are available in 8 locations throughout the Expo site.

NaviLens

This app provides audio information to assist people with impaired vision and international visitors in getting around. By scanning the 2D codes placed throughout the Expo site with a smartphone camera, the application provides location information, distance to the user’s destination, and more. 2D codes are placed on information signs, restrooms, and digital signage throughout the venue. Please download the app below before coming to the Expo.

shikAI

This is a voice navigation app to assist people with visual impairments in navigating around the Expo site.
By scanning the 2D codes placed on the tactile paving blocks around the site with a smartphone camera, the app provides voice guidance on the best route from each point to the destination.
Please download the app from the links below in advance and use it when you visit.

EXPO Translation

This is an app that all visitors can use free of charge by simply installing it on their smartphones or other devices. Visitors can enjoy conversations beyond the “language barrier” when making enquiries with staff or communicating with international visitors.
The application is available in 30 languages including Japanese.

Text Announcements

This service translates announcements broadcast over the loudspeaker indoors and outdoors at the Expo site into the language set on your smartphone or other device and allows you to view them in text form. You don’t need a dedicated app to use this service. Just scan the 2D code to access the Text Announcements website. The service is primarily available in Japanese and English, with support for up to 7 languages.
