The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) aims to thoroughly implement reduction and reuse practises in pursuit of achieving a circular economy, both during and after Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”), as outlined in its “Sustainability Action Plan of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan”.
To achieve this, as part of the “Green Expo” initiative under the Future Society Showcase Projects, the Association will launch the reuse matching website “EXPO CIRCULAR MARKET MYAKU-ICHI!” (hereinafter referred to as “MYAKU-ICHI”) on 6 August, 2024. This website will match the supply and demand for the relocation and reuse of facilities, building materials, equipment, supplies, etc. at the Expo site.
