The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) established the Expo P&R (Park & Ride) parking lots in Maishima, Amagasaki and Sakai for visitors travelling to Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan (hereinafter referred to as “the Expo”) by private car.
Based on the usage during the first month since the opening of the Expo, the Association is introducing the following measures to improve accessibility to the Expo: 1. Establishment of an Expo P&R priority entry lane at the West Gate; 2. Opening of same-day spaces at Expo P&R parking; 3. Introduction of half-price discount rates for Expo P&R parking after 15:00.; 4. Opening of spaces for people with disabilities at Maishima Expo P&R parking.
In addition, based on the usage of each parking area, we will temporarily suspend new reservations for parking spaces at Maishima E and Sakai A (excluding EV parking spaces). Visitors are requested to use Maishima A and Sakai B parking instead. Those who have already made reservations for Maishima E and Sakai A parking will still be able to use them as planned.
1. Establishment of an Expo P&R priority entry lane at the West Gate (details: Appendix 1)
・Date: from Saturday, 24 May 2025 (for the foreseeable future)
・Details: P&R users with a West Gate entry reservation at 10:00 or 11:00 can use the priority entry lane by lining up during the time slot one hour earlier.
* Please show your P&R shuttle bus ticket when queuing in the priority entry lane.
2. Opening of same-day spaces at Expo P&R parking (details: Appendix 2)
・Date: from Saturday 24 May 2025 (for the foreseeable future)
・Details: Same-day spaces will be made available at Expo P&R parking (Maishima A, Amagasaki, and Sakai B). To use a same-day parking space, you must make a reservation before coming to the Expo P&R.
・No. of same-day spaces: Availability of same-day spaces for each time slot depends on the number of spaces left over from advance reservations made by the previous day.
Please note that the number of same-day spaces is limited.

3. Introduction of half-price discount rates at Expo P&R Parking after 15:00 (details: Appendix 3)
・Date: from Saturday 24 May 2025 (for the foreseeable future)
・Details: A discount on parking fees at the Expo P&R will be available for visitors attending the Twilight Campaign (launched 6 May) with a night ticket (entry from 16:00) who park after 15:00. Discounted parking spaces are only sold on the day and must be reserved before arriving at the parking area.
・No. of discounted spaces: Availability of same-day spaces for each time slot depends on the number of spaces left over from advance reservations made by the previous day.

4. Opening of spaces for people with disabilities (same-day reservations) at Maishima Expo P&R parking (details: Appendix 4)
・Date: from Saturday 24 May 2025 (for the foreseeable future)
・Details: Due to the high demand for advance reservations at the Yumeshima Accessible
Parking same-day reservation parking spots for people with disabilities will be opened at Maishima P&R Parking A.
To use these spaces, you must make a reservation on the day of use before coming to the Maishima Expo P&R parking. Please note that the number of spaces is limited.
・No. of reserved spaces: The number of same-day reserved parking spots for people with disabilities is limited to 100 per day. Please note that the number of reservation slots is limited.
