“Avant-garde” originally meant “pioneer” in military terms, but was redefined by Saint-Simon and others as those who carried out artistic innovation. This exhibition, “So What if it’s Avant-Garde?”, presents works that question preconceived notions, starting from everyday life and personal experiences. Art is not something fixed, but a creative endeavor that is redefined by individual interpretation, and the sincerity and passion of the artists resonate deeply with viewers. Furthermore, disability is not seen as a constraint, but as a unique perspective that can promote creativity and social inclusion.
